I’m privileged to hold funeral services, each one individually written with care to celebrate the life, and mark the passing, of a family’s loved one. I work closely with the family to understand the best, most fitting way to do this. Services can include music, readings, poetry and personal tributes, as well as any special individual touches that are meaningful when reflecting on and celebrating the loved one’s life.

I love to listen to people’s stories, and take care to get a real sense of the person who has passed away. When requested by the family, I write eulogies that comprehensively and sensitively depict the person, their life, their character and the role they played in the lives of others.

At every step of the way I’m available to the family to advise, guide and support. On the day of the funeral itself, I consider it my honour to hold a service which balances acknowledging and respecting the grief and loss of those present, with a true sense of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of their loved one.

Throughout the process I’m relied on to be compassionate, sensitive and supportive, at what is often a very painful and emotional time.

I’m based in Marlborough, Wiltshire, and cover the surrounding areas. I’m also open to travelling further afield as needed.
