How the training works

Your manual is sent out two months before training begins, once the non-refundable deposit of £250.00 has been received. The remaining balance of £1,000.00 is due one month before the class-style training date.

Pre-course homework
Before attending the 2-day training, students prepare a written wedding ceremony and a baby naming service. These are performed on Day 2, giving students a supportive opportunity to practise delivery and build confidence.

What students will learn

Students learn how to deliver a complete wedding ceremony, hold thoughtful interviews and meetings with couples, and create personalised ceremonies that reflect each couple’s personality, relationship and love story.

Training covers traditional ceremonies, handfasting ceremonies, same-sex weddings, music, poetry, humour, readings and symbolic touches.

The course also includes naming ceremonies for babies and older children, including adopted children of any age being welcomed into their new family.

Build your celebrant business

Students explore the practical and business side of celebrant work, including liaising with couples, wedding planners and suppliers, understanding legal and cost considerations, officiating overseas

weddings, using voice control, preparing scripts and presenting couples with an elegant souvenir script.

“A wedding is not just a day, but the beginning of a lifetime of shared memories.”

Take your first confident steps towards creating meaningful and unforgettable ceremonies for others.

The benefit of real experience

Students benefit from the trainer’s extensive experience in the celebrant and wedding business. Holding a PTLLS Certificate in Training with Ofqual-recognised training, he brings professional teaching knowledge and real-world ceremony experience into the classroom.

His ceremony experience includes venues such as Elvetham Hotel, Longleat Orangery, The Manor House, Castle Combe and Wolverton Manor. Throughout the course, he shares real examples to help students understand the practical realities of working with couples and delivering personal ceremonies.
