Jackie Chappell

Jackie had a successful career in the rail industry, where she rose from a part-time employee selling tickets to become the Chief Executive of the Industry’s Training and Competence Company, making her the first ever female CEO in the industry’s history.

Jackie led the company to achieve tremendous industry and government recognition, in particular National Training Organisation status, and phenomenal growth during her seven years at the helm.

Following this career, Jackie even created her own company and became one of the best inspirational speakers in the UK.

And now because of her caring nature, she is embarking on two new careers, one as a Toastmaster and the other as Civil Celebrant.

Firstly, she joined the elite Executive Guild of Toastmasters and next was to be trained as a Funeral Celebrant by the County Celebrants Network.

Jackie believes that when we lose someone we love, it should be about celebrating their life.

It is such a sad time, but from experience, sitting and talking about your loved one is a great healer.

She will be there to support the family through this tough time, working together to create a personalised Ceremony or service that is all about the person they have lost.

Her empathetic nature and great listening skills along with the compassion and understanding are her great assets to being a celebrant.

Jackie is based in Reading but is very happy to travel to nearby surrounding areas outside of Berkshire.
