“For every joy that passes….something beautiful remains…..”
We experience many key life moments…some pleasant, some challenging.
It is important we mark some of these with a meaningful ceremony featuring appropriate words and music.
More and more people are wishing to mark these life changing experiences with non-religious ceremonies (although of course some will wish to include hymns and prayers) and so as a Civil Celebrant my role is to create a highly personalised celebration or reflection.
I work with families experiencing these key phases; welcoming a new life into the world with baby naming ceremonies, joining couples in love as they pledge a lifelong commitment to one another, and bidding a fond, albeit it difficult farewell to a loved one at the end of life. Whatever the ceremony, it is a one-time chance to celebrate or reflect, so it has to be right, inclusive, and exactly as the family wish.
With an empathetic and considerate nature, I have considerable experience of working closely with people from all walks of life in both happy times and sad.
As an active Civil Celebrant it is always a privilege to play a small part in helping families and individuals plan and take part in such ceremonies; to enjoy, share and celebrate the happy times and reflect on loss and coming to terms with sadness and grief.
Based in Northamptonshire, I offer my services throughout the Midlands and East Anglia, but will travel further afield, as required.
